By now you have probably heard of Marie Kondo, author of “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing” and creator of the “KonMari” organization method. Maybe you have watched her popular new netflix series. If so, I am betting you have already picked up an item in your home and asked yourself “does this spark joy?” I am not an expert on the KonMari method, but I use her folding methods and I believe in her message. I believe that we should start being more careful about clutter and about the items we allow in our lives. Because whether we want to accept it or not, things weigh heavily on our souls.
